Tips for a free weekend in Las Vegas
- Go early to the freebies. Free food, treat bags and library-card tickets are first come, first served and often run out.
- Bring a library card. Clark County, North Las Vegas and Henderson library cards unlock free tickets to events like STEAM Family Fest.
- Plan for dark. The sun sets around 6:40 p.m. this weekend, so evening events run after dark. Bring a flashlight for kids.
- Bring water and a little cash. Admission may be free, but food trucks and vendors usually aren't.
Hosting a free event or sale?
Spread the Word writes your listing and posts it to free local sale-finder sites, calendars and community pages that fit your sale or event, then emails you a proof sheet with every live link. Flat prices, all site fees included: garage or yard sale $3, estate sale $8, church, HOA or community event $12, business event $18. We can't promise turnout, but more people will know about it. List your sale or event.
