Best neighborhoods for yard and estate sales in Las Vegas
Published Oct. 16, 2026 by Spread the Word
Not all sale weekends are equal. Here's where shoppers around the Las Vegas Valley tend to find the most (and best) sales, and what each area is known for. This is based on the listings we map every week. Every sale is different, so check the details before you drive.
Henderson (Green Valley, Anthem, Sun City Anthem)
Retirement communities and downsizing make Henderson the valley's estate-sale capital: furniture, art, golf gear and collectibles.
Summerlin and Sun City Summerlin
Master-planned villages hold big community-wide garage sales; tidy, well-kept items and lots of patio furniture.
Spring Valley and the Southwest
Mixed older and newer homes; frequent moving sales from people relocating in and out of Vegas.
North Las Vegas (Aliante, Ironwood, Centennial area)
Neighborhood-wide sales with family items, tools and outdoor gear at good prices.
Boulder City
Small-town feel with church rummage sales, antiques and vintage finds. Worth the drive.
Pahrump
Big lots and big sales: tools, trailers, ranch and off-road gear, and whole-house estate sales.
Desert tip: sales start early because afternoons get hot, even in fall. Bring water, shop 7-10 a.m., and expect sellers to wrap up by early afternoon.

Hosting a sale? For $29 (garage) or $59 (estate), Spread the Word writes your listing, posts it to free local sale-finder sites, calendars and community pages that fit, and emails you a proof sheet with every link. We can't promise turnout, but more people will know about it. Submit your sale.
